When I had my first baby I was young and completely lost. I didn't know what I was doing. I didn't have anyone telling me what was normal, what to expect or that I was going to be okay.
I was exhausted in a way I couldn't put into words. And lonely in a way that was hard to explain — even to myself.
I never forgot that feeling.
Years later I became a nurse. And what I loved most — more than anything else — was working with families. Being in that room with parents in the early days. Being the person who could say — this is normal, you are doing brilliantly, here is what is happening.

I believe that every baby can sleep.
I believe that every parent deserves support that is built around their family — not handed down from a generic template.
I believe that how a baby learns to sleep matters. Not just whether they sleep — but how they get there. With security. With trust. With a parent who feels confident and regulated and present.
I believe that you cannot build your baby's sleep from a dysregulated nervous sysQtem. Which is why at Juju Dreams we work on both — your baby's sleep and yours.
I believe that breathwork and sleep coaching and paediatric nursing were always meant to go together. That the nervous system is the thread that connects all three. And that when we address all of it — the baby, the parent, the breath — something shifts that no sleep plan alone can achieve.
And I believe — above everything else — that you are doing an amazing job.
Even on the days it doesn't feel like it.
Especially on those days.
WORKING TOGETHER
A real conversation about your baby, your family and what brought you here.
Gentle, practical steps shaped around the baby you know best.
Support through the wakings and wobbles, so you can keep going with confidence.
SLEEP AND BREATHWORK
After months of broken sleep, even a good plan can feel hard to follow at 3am. My breathwork training deepened how I support parents through those moments.
The Held Mother brings six weeks of gentle sleep coaching and breathwork together for mothers who need care for both their baby's sleep and their own sense of calm.
Julie is currently training as a breathwork facilitator.
Let's talk about what gentle sleep support could look like for your family.
